Preston Andrews grew up in a prestigious family. He had 2 other siblings. An older brother, and a younger sister. His parents, Kathy and Peter, were graduates from Princeton. Due to their academic success, it led the intelligent couple to strive for the best in their three children. Their oldest made them proud by each year achieving the top in class. Their baby, along with achieving good grades, she also excelled in extracurricular activities including the following: Cheerleading captain and Dance team captain. The ball was left in Preston’s court to follow the rest of his family’s success and become something impressive, like become president or solve world peace or something epic like that. But no, Preston was the black sheep in the family. He was an average student, and didn’t participate in any school activities. During high school he was considered a ‘loner’ and after school he would be found in his room playing video games. Once he graduated and hit the real world, that’s when things started to change for Preston.
Once Preston reached 25 he had a list long of past failed relationships. Instead of striving to be the best at his career (which consisted of working an entry-level position for his brothers company) he placed all his ambition in to finding his soul mate. He was a sap, and a hopeless romantic. Unfortunately due to his eager search to find the one, it led him across many mistakes which only brought him to become a cynic to love.
Preston did however find one true love. Once he reached his 28th birthday he came across a beautiful blonde with a glowing smile. She was almost 10 years younger than him but age was only a number to Preston. She was a young intern at his work and since the minute she walked in, Preston was hooked. One thing that Preston had going for him was his funny, charming manner. Oh and that sleeve of tattoo’s always brought in the attention as well. It didn’t take long for him to win her over, but once he did they fell for each other quick. Since they both worked in the same company, their relationship had to be on the down low. The age gap attributed to the hush too. They dated for a solid year, but with the secret relationship, things got hard on her and she ended it. Preston was devastated and tried everything to win her back but she wouldn’t budge. Luckily they work on different floors, but that still doesn’t stop Preston to make excused to pass by her office.
Since the break up, Preston was left in a slump and did not associate much with others and started to lose friends due to him flaking on their usual bar nights. He contemplated quitting his job, but he didn’t want to do that to his brother and due to his lack of superb grades, he wasn’t sure of what he could find that was more superior than where he was already at. Preston was nearing 30 and after a few months of sulking, he decided it was time to do something with his life. He decided that he wanted to create a video game. In all his spare time, that was exactly what he put his hard work and determination towards and in hopes to become an entrepreneur of his own gaming company.
